Eden Brown Gaines is the principal attorney at Brown Gaines, LLC and supports business clients in domestic and international corporate governance, public procurement, and commercial contracting. Ms. Brown Gaines is a trusted legal strategist and a seasoned civil litigator, with more than 25 years of experience appearing before U.S. federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels and representing clients in arbitration. She is a frequent lecturer in public procurement and employment law, a certified mediator and partner in a contracting firm which provides consultative services in human capital and public procurement to federal and municipal executive agencies.
Ms. Brown Gaines earned a Juris Doctor from the American University's Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She serves on the boards of several nonprofits which provide resources to homeless men, underserved African American students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities and U.S. soccer coaches. She has two young adult sons and resides in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.
